Laurel River Trail
The Laurel River Trail runs three miles from Highway 25-70 to where the Laurel River meets the French Broad River.
The trail is mostly flat. A round-trip walk of the entire trail and back to the house takes a little more than two and a half hours. There are wonderful spots all along the trail to sit on large rocks by the river, fish, picnic or take a rest to enjoy the beauty.
There are many other beautiful hiking trails nearby.
