FREEDOM PARK

• FOFP is a collective voice to preserve and improve Freedom Park. It is a voice for those who love this park as a city treasure, worthy of priority funding, support and care. In a county where commercial interests and funding priorities have put pressure on public parks, we are advocates of the park.
• FOFP is all-volunteer, non-profit, non-partisan. It is supported by donations. There is no cost to become a supporter.
• Supporters receive email notices of news and events and can contribute ideas and participate in FOFP efforts.
• Names and contact information of FOFP Supporters are never shared. Supporters of FOFP live all over Mecklenburg County and include even former residents who now live in other states or countries. FOFP is an independent group, however, its members support the goals and purposes of the Freedom Park Neighborhood Association also. We believe the quality of the surrounding neighborhood and Freedom Park are interdependent.
